Northcliff Ecopark, a Section 21 company under supervision of the City of Johannesburg, and the Ridge committee officially manage Northcliff Ridge. The natural resource management objectives of Johannesburg City Parks amongst others, include:

  • To ensure sound management of biodiversity, cultural and natural processes and systems;
  • To promote open-space based environmental education and awareness;
  • To co-ordinate and determine the development of the eco-tourism products and programme’s (choice and diversity);
  • To develop strategies/policies for Johannesburg City Parks in compliance with environmental legislation.
